Dr. Dana Van Elslande has been in the private practice of Orthodontics and facial esthetics for 18 years in Calgary and Okotoks following her Dental and Orthodontic training at the University of Alberta. She has a background in microbiology from the University of Calgary which has helped to fuel her passion regarding proper oral hygiene, particularly during active Orthodontic treatment. Dr. Van Elslande has lectured with Oral B for the last 12 years, and continues to help improve their Oral Hygiene Program, Orthodontic Essentials. She runs a study group in Calgary for dentists that want to learn more about multidisciplinary care and occasionally helps teach with the University of Alberta Graduate Orthodontics Program, as well as the Clinical Auxillary Orthodontic Module at SAIT. When she’s not working to create beautiful smiles, Dr. Van Elslande and her husband are busy running after their twin toddlers.
